Reaching new heights in the city quarter

In Wiesbaden, an inner-city play space has been created that offers a fresh perspective amid the surrounding Wilhelminian-era buildings.

The tall, colourful steel tower, with its net-only climb, has a light, airy look and provides views in and out at every level. A tunnel slide tempts children into a quick descent.

For those who don’t fancy going quite so high, a toddler slide in the lower third offers an easy way out.

Around the tower there are plenty of options for younger children too: a generously sized water-and-mud area for sensory play, a standing seesaw that encourages shared play, and swings for a sense of speed and another change of viewpoint across the square. A step-free, accessible trampoline means everyone can jump.
