A large ship, accessible step-free, has dropped anchor in Krefeld-Uerdingen. From stern to bow, it invites children to climb in all sorts of ways.
Wobble planks, an extra-long periscope, a free-fall slide and parrot figures add to the fun on the main ship. The helm is at ground level, and a Morse mirror lets children stay in touch with what’s happening onboard from below.
The nautical role-play continues across the whole playground, with dolphins, a lookout mast and a second, smaller ship completing the scene.
