Number 16 of the 19 alla hopp! playgrounds was ceremonially opened in Heidelberg. The Dietmar Hopp Foundation provides strong support for bringing these play parks to life.
Once again, the large site is designed as a place where people can meet. Everything is set up for young and old alike, as well as for people with disabilities. A Tartan obstacle track runs through the area, making for a fast-paced and action-packed circuit.
One highlight is the large climbing boulder with a slide, connected by a three-metre-high dreamcatcher net made from slackline webbing – perfect for balancing. This structure is a world first and was developed especially for the Heidelberg alla hopp! park.
Along the course, you move quickly by climbing and jumping over obstacles such as walls, masonry and railings. The playground also features great equipment including swings, a “forest” of climbing poles and a carousel powered by muscle power. For older generations there are plenty of inviting seating areas, as well as fitness equipment to try out.
