A paradise for climbing and balancing

A spacious new playground with plenty of wooden equipment has just been created in Berlin. Several platforms can be reached in all sorts of ways – via ladders, climbing nets or a climbing wall. After taking in the view across the site, a fast stainless-steel slide provides the reward.

There are also lots of ways to move around by traversing and climbing – for example on vertical ropes, beams with hanging holds, climbing logs, or a balancing “mikado” made up of six timber beams.

If you fancy a break from climbing, you’ll find a sand play table with a sliding play wall, as well as a bird’s-nest swing for relaxed play. Inclusion is built in too: an accessible play platform with a balancing route and a roll-under sand table keeps every child right in the middle of the action. And for a proper time-out, there’s also a generous chill-out area with plenty of seating and loungers.
