Berlin, Schleidenplatz

In Berlin’s Samariterkiez, the triangular Schleidenplatz has been turned into a compact but versatile playground – a lively meeting point in the neighbourhood. A climbing-and-slide unit sits at the centre, complemented by a spinning disc and a basket swing.

A gently sloping ramp leads down to the sand and water area with a pump. Here children can channel the water, create little streams and mix it into mud. Grass areas provide additional space to play, while a small watercourse forms a natural boundary to the play zone.
