The distinctive climbing and balancing structure with its colourful steel posts catches the eye of visitors young and old as soon as they arrive at the new playground on Emmastraße in Düsseldorf. Via a small platform and climbing nets, children make their way up — before whizzing back down on the exciting free-fall slide.
Next, the play huts — linked by a suspension bridge. Children can pause here for a moment or enjoy the small sand-play features.
And of course there’s also a larger, step-free sand-play area with an adjoining water-play zone. Here everyone can enjoy messy play to their heart’s content and let the water run through the channels.
As a memorable signature detail, we added palm-tree top elements to some of the play equipment — guaranteed to stick in visitors’ minds.
A varied swing area rounds off the fun.
